UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL: Talking points as Paris Saint Germain face off with Bayern Munich.

Surely the end of the road but not in its entirety; Either Paris Saint Germain or Bayern Munich must have their name inscribed on the desiderate Champions League trophy. A record sixth time it will be for the former if they win it, ergo, to the disdain of the French outfit.

PSG can pull of a surprise and register a first ever Champions League trophy with their only ever shot at it in the final.

The final must happen and gotten out of the way so we call the 2019/2020 European season firmly done and dusted.

A preview of the game as we chat and dissect the options available for the teams in the final as I do this with Kwasi Obeng Sasu(@JokerGiroud) and Austin Amegashie(@AustinAintShit). Follow them on Twitter for bits and reactions from the Final.

Action Areas

Kwasi: There's a lack of pace in the right side of Bayern's defense(i.e. Kimmich/Pavard and Boateng/SΓΌle). Kimmich might start there though despite Pavard's early recovery and cameo in the semi final encounter. I think PSG will use that as an advantage. If there's going to be a goal from PSG, I think it will come from that side, the likes of Neymar and Mbappe can hurt you.

Austin: The defence of both teams will be tested heavily on the night because of the attackers each side possess. Both teams create a lot of chances so the most efficient of the night will laugh at the end.

Defense of Bayern a key cog for PSG to exploit?

Kwasi: Yes, Lyon did expose Bayern. There's a weakness in the Bayern back 4 and Lyon did a good job exposing it. Their problem was finishing and I think Kylian and Neymar Jr might do a better job finishing off those chances.

Austin: Throughout the knockout stages, Bayern haven't had struggled enough with the way they won their matches but one can say they're in for a huge test with this PSG team and will have to be perfect the entire 90 minutes of action.

Who wins?

Kwasi: I really want it to PSG's first but let's face it Bayern are winning their 6th.

Austin: Bayern Munich will be victorious at the end considering they have an experienced side as compared to PSG whereas their team is much more balanced from defence to attack.

Both pundits fall on Bayern's side but let's face the fact, the talent and threat in PSG's side is one Hansi Flick must look to neutralize.

  1. Bayern must win
I just want to see Lewandowski lift the trophy πŸ† for the first time and that's a treble for Coutinho πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
